Eight members of the long-running East End Writers’ Group (EEWG) emerge from the stacks of S. Walter Stewart Library to share their creativity in the library’s auditorium. Join group founder Sharon A. Crawford and EEWG members Nishe Catherine, Gail Murray, Laura Jones, Nicholas Nanos, Lee Parpart, and Paola Ferrante for an evening of poetry, prose, readings, music, photography, and comedy. Take part in a sample writing critique session led by Gia Petec. Enjoy light refreshments and a chance to mix and mingle with readers, writers, and performers from across Toronto’s East End.
*Please note that the critique session begins at 6:35, and that late arrivals may not be guaranteed entry. Please bring a one-page sample of your writing in any genre or form. Members of EEWG will provide constructive feedback on one or two writing samples. Due to time constraints, not all samples will be chosen for critique. (If you miss your chance, you can always join EEWG and attend our monthly meetings!)
