Baseline Press

Featured Titles

Baseline Press is a micro-press that publishes poetry and lyric essay in hand-sewn, limited edition chapbooks. Their books are typically less than 20 pages in length, printed in runs of 60 copies per title. Baseline publishes new authors as well as those in mid-career, and looks for writing that is compelling and beautiful. Since these are handmade books, involving many hours of construction, the publisher needs to really love the writing. A focus is given to materials and design, with the goal of creating books that are as much art object as literature.
